Twelve years working with small business owners, nonprofits, and founders across the South. The same conversation, over and over: they were good at what they did. Often very good. But when it came time to say what they did — to a customer, an investor, a room — the words didn’t come.

Not because they weren’t smart. Because they were too smart. Clever had kept them safe. Clever had impressed people. Clever had gotten them here.

But clever doesn’t close. Clarity does.
