You already have
the instrument.
Let's tune what you
do with it.

Twenty years of stage, pulpit, and ensemble leading. Now I work with singers, speakers, and first-time performers who know they have something — and want to make sure it lands.

Who this is for

  • A worship leader who's good enough but wants to be certain.
  • A preacher who fills the room but never knows why some sermons land and others don't.
  • An actor walking into their first real audition with no idea how to prepare.
  • A professional speaker whose message is solid but whose delivery doesn't match.

You don't need more material. You need a coach who's been in those rooms.

What we work on

Audition Prep

Song selection, cut choice, what to do with 32 bars, how to walk in and walk out. Classical background — we work on the material and the presence, not just the notes.

Speaking Voice & Presence

Breath, resonance, pace, command. For the person who has something worth saying and needs it to land. Not a performance — a conversation that fills the room.

Sermon & Talk Delivery

The Lowry Loop approach: tension before resolution. How to hold a room when you're not reading from a page. Built from 19 years of Sunday mornings.

Worship Leading

The gap between singing songs and actually leading people somewhere. For the worship leader who's good enough but wants to be certain.

First-Time Coaching

For the person who's always been told they should, but hasn't. Confident from session one — not through tricks, through knowing what you're actually doing.

What I bring

Classical Training

Bass-baritone at Jacksonville State University. Sweeney Todd title role. Junior recital. Voice isn't a hobby I picked up — it's the thing I spent years getting right.

19 Years of Sunday Mornings

Every week, you walk out to a room full of people who didn't necessarily want to hear you. You learn to earn the room fast, or you learn the hard way. I learned both.

Plainspoken Coaching

Same framework I use for business communication. You figure out what you're actually trying to say, in your actual voice — then we shape the delivery around that. No technique without purpose.

Format

Sessions by Zoom or in-person (Anniston, AL area).

60 minutes. You leave with a recording of the session and written notes.

$65 / session — package pricing available.

Common questions

Where are sessions held?

Zoom or in-person in the Anniston, Alabama area. You leave with a recording of the session and written notes.

What does a session cost?

$65 per session, 60 minutes. Package pricing is available for anyone committing to multiple sessions.

Do I need classical training to work with you?

No. Most of my clients are preachers, worship leaders, and first-time performers — not conservatory students. We start where you are.

What's your background?

Bass-baritone trained at Jacksonville State University. Title role in Sweeney Todd. Junior recital in 2007. 19 years of pastoral ministry. 26 years total in music, stage, and pulpit settings.

I'm not a conservatory professor. I'm someone who's done the thing you're trying to do — in church basements, in university productions, in memorial services, in revival tents and Sunday sanctuaries and hospital chapels. If you want someone who's lived it, I'm available.
